US Futures Gain as Trump’s $4 Trillion Spending Bill Advances, Tariff Pause Nears End 📈🇺🇸

US stock futures climbed early Tuesday after President Donald Trump’s massive spending bill narrowly cleared the Senate, with Vice President JD Vance casting the tie-breaking vote. The bill now heads to the House, where Speaker Mike Johnson aims to pass it by Thursday, July 4.

🔹 Dow futures (YM=F) rose 0.2%

🔹 S&P 500 futures (ES=F) added 0.3%

🔹 Nasdaq 100 futures (NQ=F) climbed 0.3%

Economists estimate the bill’s final cost could exceed $4 trillion, fueling optimism about fiscal stimulus but also raising concerns about longer-term debt levels.

Meanwhile, Trump’s pause on his “reciprocal” tariffs is set to expire on July 9, and the president has indicated he isn’t considering an extension. The administration is reportedly scrambling to secure smaller trade deals with key partners before the deadline, after which Trump has threatened to send letters assigning new tariff rates unilaterally.
