Saudi Arabia’s non-oil exports to Bahrain soared by 213% in the second quarter of 2024, reaching SR5.79 billion ($1.54 billion), according to official data from the General Authority for Statistics. This growth was primarily driven by transport equipment and parts, totaling SR4.59 billion.
Other major exports included mechanical appliances and electrical products worth SR154.4 million and live animals and related products at SR153.9 million. This surge highlights Saudi Arabia’s efforts to diversify its economy away from oil dependency.
