Saudi Arabia is set to host LEAP 2024, the world’s most-attended tech event, from March 4 to 7 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center. With the theme “Into New Worlds,” the event, organized by various entities including the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, will focus on new opportunities, technologies, and capabilities in the tech sector. LEAP 2024 will feature over 600 startups, 172,000 attendees, and more than 1,800 global tech exhibitors, including major companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Dell, Cisco, Avaya, SAP, ServiceNow, Amazon Web Services, IBM, Alibaba, and Huawei. The event aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia’s position as a hub for innovation and technology, attracting global investors and thought leaders.
The CEO of Tahaluf, Michael Champion, highlighted that Saudi Arabia is emerging globally as a priority economy, and LEAP will bring together top speakers, tech experts, and companies to empower technology globally. The event is expected to facilitate numerous investments and launches, with over $11 billion worth of deals and agreements reached during the 2023 edition. LEAP 2024 will cover various tech-related topics across multiple stages, addressing education tech, retail tech, fintech, health tech, the fourth industrial revolution, future energy, and smart cities. The event will also host stages for investors, startups, and discussions on the intersection of technology with government policies and innovation. A series of awards and competitions, including the Rocket Fuel Pitch competition with prizes exceeding $1 million, will be part of LEAP 2024. The event aims to create a platform for business deals and partnerships, with a focus on technology’s role in transforming industries and creating new opportunities.
