Samsung Electronics and its labor union in South Korea have agreed on a 5.1% wage increase, the company and union confirmed on Monday. The National Samsung Electronics Union (NSEU), representing about 30% of the company’s South Korean workforce, will vote on the deal between February 28 and March 5.
The agreement includes 30 Samsung shares per employee and additional perks like product vouchers. While the union held strikes last year, Samsung stated they did not disrupt production.
