The majority of AXA’s shares in the Italian bank Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (BMPS.MI) were effectively sold off, the French insurer AXA (AXAF.PA) reported on Tuesday. The shares were sold for 2.33 euros per share.
AXA will retain 0.0007% of the Italian bank’s share capital after this sale.
