The fourth-largest lender in Greece by market value, Piraeus Bank (BOPr.AT), reported on Friday strong net profits for the final quarter of 2022, driven by higher fees and net interest income.
Following a profit of 116 million euros in the third quarter of last year, the bank, which is owned by the nation’s HFSF bank rescue fund to the tune of 27 per cent, reported net profits of 170 million euros.
