Google has unveiled new AI tools designed to boost advertising and search capabilities for brands and retailers. At the Google Marketing Live event, the company introduced enhancements to its Product Studio, including the ability to animate still images and create AI-generated backgrounds for video content. These updates aim to help brands create more engaging social media campaigns and improve their online presence. Additionally, Google’s plans to integrate short-form video content with advertisements and provide AI-generated summaries are expected to enhance consumer decision-making, although these features are currently in a closed beta phase. Meanwhile, London-based startup Eslando has been selected for Carbon13’s accelerator program, receiving £120,000 in initial investment. Eslando uses AI to create digital product passports, offering detailed recyclability information for textile products. This initiative supports sustainability by helping brands embrace circularity and enabling recyclers to efficiently process high-quality feedstock.
