Elon Musk Denies Report of Tesla Revenue Sharing Deal with xAI 🤖🚗

Elon Musk has dismissed a report that his AI startup, xAI, has held talks about receiving a share of future Tesla revenues in exchange for providing the electric vehicle maker with access to xAI’s technology and resources. According to The Wall Street Journal, Tesla was said to be planning to license xAI’s AI models to enhance its driver-assistance systems and full self-driving (FSD) technology, sharing some of that revenue with xAI.

Musk took to his platform, X, to refute the report, stating, “Tesla has learned a lot from discussions with engineers at xAI, but there is no need to license anything from xAI.” The report also suggested xAI could develop additional Tesla features, like a voice assistant and software for its humanoid robot, Optimus.

Musk launched xAI last year to compete with OpenAI, raising concerns about resource allocation between the two companies. However, he emphasized that xAI’s innovations could assist in advancing Tesla’s self-driving technology.
