DHL Express announced it will suspend global business-to-consumer shipments valued over $800 to the U.S. starting April 21, citing new customs regulations that have slowed clearance times.

๐Ÿ”น The change follows a U.S. Customs and Border Protection update on April 5, which lowered the threshold for formal entry processing from $2,500 to $800.
๐Ÿ”น Business-to-business shipments will continue but may face delays.
๐Ÿ”น Shipments under $800 remain unaffected.
๐Ÿ”น DHL called the move temporary, stating itโ€™s working with customers to adapt ahead of further changes expected May 2.Last week, Hongkong Post also suspended sea mail to the U.S., criticizing what it called U.S. “bullying” after Washington removed tariff-free treatment for packages from China and Hong Kong.
