Chinese Exporters Seek New Markets Amid U.S. Trade Tensions 🌍📦

Chinese exporters are actively turning to global trade fairs like the Canton Fair and China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) to offset the impact of U.S. tariffs and reduce reliance on traditional markets.

🔹 The Canton Fair in Guangzhou has seen strong demand, with 31,000+ companies participating—up nearly 900 from last year.
🔹 Exporters are forging deals with new partners from Europe, including Poland and the Netherlands.
🔹 Many are also investing in overseas production, such as a planned ¥10M ($1.37M) factory to secure global supply chains.
🔹 At CICPE, brands are tailoring products for international markets—with some already thriving in Russia. This shift reflects China’s broader strategy to diversify exports, launch proprietary brands, and build resilience in a volatile trade environment.
