Abu Dhabi’s AD Ports Group announced that its subsidiary, Noatum Logistics, has successfully acquired the finished vehicles logistics division of Grupo Logistico Sese for €81 million (approximately $84.7 million). This strategic move aims to bolster AD Ports Group’s global automotive sector presence. The acquisition is expected to be finalized by Q1 2024, pending regulatory approvals. Noatum Logistics anticipates a stable European automotive logistics market, with the European finished vehicle market valued at €3 billion and projected annual growth of 6 percent. Sese Auto Logistics, operating across Spain, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, will play a crucial role in AD Ports Group’s European expansion strategy.
This acquisition aligns with AD Ports Group’s strategy to establish end-to-end supply chains in key global markets, especially in Europe and the Mediterranean region. The move follows AD Ports Group’s prior acquisition of Madrid-based Noatum and reflects its ambitious global expansion plans.
