ACWA Power Launches First Overseas Innovation Center in China ⚡🌱

Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power has inaugurated its first international Innovation Center in Shanghai, focusing on renewable energy, energy storage, and desalination—a key step in its expansion into China’s green energy sector.

  • $2.8 million first-phase investment
  • Features R&D facilities and a green energy laboratory

📈 ACWA Power’s Growing Presence in China

  • Entered China in December, securing 1+ GW of renewable projects
  • Signed $312 million in renewable deals in January
  • 2030 goal: Invest $30 billion in China, aligning with plans to triple global assets to $250 billion

During the launch, ACWA Power signed two MOUs with:
